These photos are from a Toronto Outdoor Club hike along the waterfront trail, from Gates Gully in west to Port Union Park in east.
The Passage is a weathering steel sculpture by Marlene Hilton Moore, created in 2002. Installed at the meeting place of the Doris McCarthy Trail and the Waterfront trail, it is dedicated to artist Doris McCarthy and the Scarborough Bluffs. It signifies passage through life: it is in the form of the rib cage of a fish that passes through water, and the ribs of a canoe that explores Canada.
